Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman to has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was brought up by her parents living in Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and loved doing exercises. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as as of 2021). She's 5' 7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed within the top 10 of 70. She was not able to win any awards but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. After one year in CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance was enough to earn her the title. Annie is the only female to ever win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she took home a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has led her to become the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" that has a large number of subscribers. These are her travel videos and training diet and nutrition videos.
