Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the US, is an actress. Sheedy first made an appearance as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. In the years since, she's appeared on WarGames as of 1985. Then, she appeared on The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Sheedy is an American actress, and author. The early 1980s were when she started her career on film by appearing in the crime thriller film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success in her first film, she also appeared in the 1985 comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the best high school movies ever made. Even though the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has made more than $50 million. She also began appearing on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. It was a program for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about an X-Men superhero, that she appears in as a cameo. Sheedy received numerous prizes in 2005 for her performances. She also was honored by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
